Step By Step Financial Solutions Referral Program Terms and Conditions
- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the referral program (“Program”) operated by Step By Step Financial Solutions (“Company”). By participating in the Program, you (“Referrer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Eligibility
To participate in the Program, you must be a current or past client of the Company. Referrals must be made with the express consent of the person you are referring (“Referred Person”).
- Referral Process
– When you refer a client to the Company, you will receive a unique referral code via text message from our Bird Eye platform.
– To successfully refer a client, you must share a specific link with the person who would like to use our services. This link is linked to your referral code, and our system will identify the client as referred by you.
– The Referred Person will need to click on the shared link and complete a contact request form. We will receive the enquiry and contact the client.
- Referral Rewards
– Upon successful completion of a transaction involving the services listed below, the Referrer will receive a £50 Amazon e-gift card sent to the email provided by them within 30 days.
– A successful transaction is defined as the completion of a mortgage or insurance product as outlined in Section 5.
– The Referred Person will receive a £50 discount on our fees when they present your unique referral code at the time of their transaction.
– The following services are eligible for referral rewards:
– Mortgage Services: Mortgage, remortgage, buy-to-let, shared ownership transactions.
– Insurance Products: Life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection policy, relevant life plan, executive income protection.
- Insurance Advisory Services
– The Company does not charge for protection advice. However, if the Referred Person takes a standalone insurance product, the Referrer will still receive a referral voucher.
– The Referred Person will receive a £50 gift card within 30 days of the start of the insurance policy.
– A maximum of one gift card of £50 will be issued, even if the client takes both a mortgage and a protection policy.
- Exclusions
– The Company will not pay any referral fees for referring general insurance business, such as home insurance or unemployment cover.
– Referral rewards are contingent upon successful transactions only. No payments will be made for unsuccessful referrals.
- Gift Card Terms
– The £50 Amazon gift card issued to the Referrer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of payment.
**8. Limitation of Liability**
The Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the Program.
- Modification of Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through our website.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
